Here are the list of controls for the Xbox edition of Minecraft!

Today we are going to be going over the list of controls for Xbox.

Xbox Controls

  • The “Start Button” will pause the game.
  • The “Left Thumbstick” is used to move/look in the game. And if you push it forward quickly and release it and push forward quickly again you will enable sprinting. And if you push down on the “Left Thumbstick” it will change your camera angles.
  • The “Right Thumbstick” is used to move/look in the game. It also controls the camera and pressing down on the Right Thumbstick will toggle sneak/walk.
  • The “A Button” Is used to Jump in the game.
  • The “Y Button” will toggle your inventory.
  • The “X Button” opens up the crafting menu or item list in creative mode.
  • The “B Button” is used to drop items in the game.
  • The “Left Trigger” is used to place blocks, fire weapons, and eat food.
  • The “Right Trigger’ is used to break blocks and attack enemies (or whatever is on your crosshair.)
  • The “Left Bumper” will cycle items to the left on your hot bar.
  • The “Right Bumper” will cycle items to the right on your hot bar.

In Crafting Mode

  • The “D-pad, Left Thumbstick and Right Thumbstick” will move the pointer on the screen.
  • The “A Button” is used for creating items.
  • The “Y Button” Is used for quickly moving items from inventory or crafting table.
  • The “X Button” is used for splitting a stack of items.
  • The “B Button” is used for exiting the crafting table
  •  The “Left Bumper” is used for cycling items to the left.
  • The “Right Bumper” Is used for cycling items to the right.
